York Archaeological Trust gives people who live in York a chance to get involved with the archaeology taking place at Hungate through a volunteer team. The volunteer team is supervised by the Hungate Outreach officer Pam White supported by the Community Archaeologist Jon Kenny. The Volunteer Team work on Wednesdays and Thursdays on many aspects of the excavation including digging, recording, finds washing and general site maintenance.
