Scheduled tours of the site start from DIG, which is based at the medieval church of St Saviours on St Saviourgate.

Tours include:

  • A visit to the Hungate excavation 

  • The chance to watch the team excavating the site 

  • Opportunities to experience the work of an archaeologist in special DIG Live! Workshops (school holidays only)

Guided Tours cost £1.00 per person
